Coming to Station Casino properties

Red Rock Resorts has appointed GAN Limited (GAN) to power its online, mobile and retail sports betting platforms throughout its Station Casino properties in Nevada.

The Irving, California-based business-to-business (B2B) gaming software provider took to Twitter on October 15 to share news of its appointment to build and power Station’s STN Sports platforms:

In an official release, GAN said it had signed a “binding terms sheet” with Red Rock Resorts pertaining to its “current portfolio of properties and projects in development.” GAN has begun the regulatory licensing procedure, with the commercial roll-out of the Station platforms subject to regulatory technical certification.

excited to enter the?U.S.?sports’ market next year with a market leader in Nevada”

GAN CEO Dermot Smurfit said his firm wasexcited to enter the U.S. sports’ market next year with a market leader in Nevada.”

The deal reinforces a previous partnership inked between GAN and Station for the latter’s social casino gaming service, Simulated Gaming, which launched in 2017 to serve loyalty reward card-owning customers of Station’s 19 brick-and-mortar casino properties in Nevada.

First for GAN

Smurfit said GAN was “greatly pleased” to land the first major US retail casino operator client for its omnichannel sports wagering technology and managed trading services solution. Smurfit said the gaming software leader acquired the solution at the start of 2021, before demonstrating it at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) earlier this month in Las Vegas.

Prior to the October 2021 event held at the Venetian Convention and Expo Center, the organizers of G2E conducted research into public opinion on the expo. An overwhelming majority of respondents — 93% — said in the May survey that they had a “strong or moderate need for being at G2E in person” for the sake of their business.

Station Casinos’ senior VP of innovation and slots Thomas Mikulich said his company was looking forward to collaborating closely with GAN to launch its innovative sports experience in the Silver State.

Mikulich added Station’s choice of GAN reflects its “proven technology platform, specialist experience with integrating reward programs, reputation for integrity and their exciting sports betting user experience across online and retail devices.”

“One-stop shop” enterprise solution

GAN’s news release said the Station deal showcased the proficiency of its award-winning GameSTACK? technology platform in tandem with GAN Sports’ in-house retail and online sports betting capability.

GameSTACK is an Internet gaming enterprise software system which GAN licenses to land-based casino operators such as Station. GAN designed this turnkey technology solution for regulated real money gaming (RMG), which encompasses Internet gaming, Internet sports gaming, and virtual Simulated Gaming.

Getting Station onboard adds to an ultra productive 2021 for GAN. In May, the California gaming provider acquired Latin America and Europe-facing Coolbet, prompting a 263% boost in first quarter revenue for GAN.

Earlier in the year, GAN announced a deal with Gila River Gaming Enterprises to launch its Simulated Gaming service at the three casinos the company operates in Arizona for the Gila River Indian Community.
