Newlette Classic Specialty Game

Newlette Classic Casino Game

Newlette Classic is an online casino game that you’re likely to find in the specialty games section. It’s a mobile-compatible game in which your first task is to choose which room you wish to play in. Each of the three rooms is denoted by a different name and a different bet level. The Beginner’s Room costs a minimum of 1 coin to enter, the Player’s Lounge requires a minimum of 10 coins and the High Roller Suite has a 100 minimum to enter.

The first of the three rooms is illustrated with an image of a man looking ecstatic as a hail of gold coins rains down in the background, while the Player’s Lounge features a busty woman in a red dress surrounded by cascading casino chips and the High Roller Suite has a smart looking gentleman with an urban backdrop behind him.

An Unusual Board

Click through to the game itself and you’ll be greeted with a board that looks unlike that of any other casino game. A bright green emoji-style face that can best be described as an angry reptile is positioned to the left, a yellow bet button occupies the centre and there’s a circular slider wheel to the right. A pop-up information box helpfully explains that you need to adjust the slider on this wheel to fix your bet. The minimum permissible bet to take part is 1 credit but you can drag this all the way up to a max bet of 9 if you like. Beyond that, you’ll need to advance to the next room, the Player’s Lounge, if you’d like to bet more.

New Game on the Block

When you’ve set your bet, click on the yellow button to start the game. If you’d prefer to enable autospin, you can do so, repeating your bet for multiple games in succession. You can adjust the maximum number of spins up to 100, can set a maximum loss limit of 10,000 and can set a single win limit of the same amount. The only other playing control you have is the ability to disable both the soundtrack and the sound effects. As for how the game operates, Newlette Classic describes itself as “a revolutionary new gambling game where you bet to own a slice of a wheel”.

When the game wheel loads, it actually looks like roulette, albeit an extremely simplified version of roulette. The bets that you place are put into a pot and the winner takes all. See, that’s the other thing to know about Newlette Classic: you don’t have to go it alone. In fact, you’ve got the option of going up against as many as four other players in what’s called a Newlette Battle. Newlette Classic is the single player version of the game in which you get to go up against the house. Although the multiplayer version is more exciting, there’s still enjoyment to be had and money to be made from the classic version.

Spin the Wheel

If you’re playing Newlette Classic, the computer will bet up to 60% of the wheel. In other words, you’ve got a 40% chance of winning. The wheel is easily split into two colours if you’re playing the computer so that you can tell at a glance where the ball has to land for you to win. If you’re competing against other punters, the wheel will of course be divided up into additional coloured sections. Newlette Classic is described as being a game of luck and skill, though this is weighted heavily towards the luck side of things.

What’s interesting about the classic version of Newlette is that you don’t get to see how many computer opponents you’re playing against and how much they’ve wagered. It’s only after you’ve placed your own bet that the size of the pot is revealed. Betting more will give you the chance to claim a larger share of the wheel and thus boost your chances of winning. Conversely, you could bet on only a small fraction of the wheel and still win if your luck’s in. When the betting has been completed, the wheel spins and the ball lands on one of the coloured sections. If it lands in your section, the pot is all yours. There’s also a bonus round built into Newlette Classic which you will enter into after winning five spins in a row.

Newlette Summary

A simple but extremely fun game that works well on Android and iPhone, Newlette Classic is a great casino title. It’s the sort of game that’s ideal for playing while you’re killing a few minutes here and there, be it because you’re on the bus to work or are waiting for the countdown timer to reach zero and your next bingo game to commence. There are some top prizes to be won from this specialty casino game whose slick animations and emoji-style design make it one that’s likely to appeal to a wide range of gamblers.
